Here Comes the Wind Up by Daniel Logan

Check please!! I have to lodge a complaint about my waiter, Daniel Logan. He has been making passes at my date all night, asking her if she wants more butter, another roll or some more wine. It’s getting a little ridiculous, and the way he keeps laughing at all her jokes, preposterous, she isn’t even that funny! You should have seen the way he scraped the crumbs from in front of her, as if she was some member of royalty, he is definitely trying to make a play for my lady. What’s that you are trying to say? He’s a waiter? Well that is no excuse, and beside the point… What? She isn’t a real woman and actually a woman carved of oak with a wind up in her back? nevermind. Don’t forget to tip!!!
